Dan’s 3rd album is his most organic thus far, channelling the sound of Mississippi Hill Country Blues – think RL Burnside and Junior Kimbrough. 

One of Melbourne’s most original and expressive Blues artists, Dan has twice travelled to Memphis USA to represent Melbourne at the International Blues Challenge.

The recorded songs, apart from two interpretations, are Dan’s originals, and sit stylistically in the Blues tradition of songwriting, which has always been one of Dan's strengths.

Recorded live in the studio, Dan is backed by Jordan Hyde (double bass) and Benny Gerard (drums). Feature tracks include: Diamond In A Coal Mine, Bake Your Bread and RL Burnside’s - Wish I Was In Heaven Sitting Down.
