Hurricane Hearn has been a fixture on the Melbourne music scene for many years. This, his debut Blues album, pays tribute to the classic Blues sounds of the 1950s and 60s. It is given a freshness, and contemporary edge by Hurricane’s songwriting. The title reflects an attitude that Hurricane learnt from his grandfather - be relaxed but aware at the same time. Backed by some regulars of the Melbourne Blues scene, the album has an energy and a consistency that is all too rare. Feature tracks include “Love Me Or Leave Me”, “Mean Old Whiskey” and “What Am I Supposed To Do”. |
